Hello friends! In my last email, I talked about releasing ourselves from goals we're not willing to make sacrifices for. For example, I've accepted that I'm not willing to make the sacrifices necessary to build a billion-dollar business. Ironically, after three weeks of clean eating (which included donuts and plenty of sweet treats!), I managed to lose 4.35 kg! Ha! But I digress. Today, I want to share something Beyoncé taught me about creativity and building a business. Stop following the crowd. Start trusting yourself. When creating products, we're often told to survey customers, study trends and look at what has worked before. And while that's useful, I've been wondering: If we're all following the same data, studying the same trends and using the same AI tools, won't we all end up creating the same things? Take Beyoncé. She built an incredibly successful career in R&B and pop. She could have continued making the music everyone already loved. Instead, she experimented with dance music in Renaissance and country influences in Cowboy Carter. She trusted her creative instincts rather than allowing past success to dictate her future. And I think there's a lesson there for all of us. Data tells us what has worked before. Creativity allows us to make something that hasn't existed before. Which brings me to my little snail mail club.If I followed the data, I'd probably stick to creating digital products. They've worked for me before. And if I followed snail mail trends, I'd create beautiful vintage stationery or artsy letters. Instead, I created Sparkles of Joy, a personal growth snail mail club. Every month, I send letters and little surprises through the post, covering topics like navigating conflict, growing pains, burnout and building confidence. It's a concept that some people don't quite understand. And I haven't seen anyone else doing personal growth snail mail quite this way. But I genuinely believe it's something that can help people. Because I've experienced those struggles myself. And I know how valuable a little encouragement, practical advice and personal connection can be. I don't have mountains of data telling me this is a good idea. But I have my human experience and my intuition. And I'm choosing to trust them. Will it work? I hope so! Will I make mistakes? Absolutely. But sometimes, you have to fail your way towards a successful business. So here's my encouragement to you today. If you have an idea you've been sitting on, even if nobody understands it or there's no evidence it'll work, give it a chance. Start small. Put it out into the world. Learn from the feedback. Because you'll never know whether your idea has potential if you never try. Speaking of confidence...November's Sparkles of Joy envelope is all about How to Build Confidence, Inside and Out. Here's what I'm putting together for you:
That last one isn't about needing to lose weight to feel confident. It's about feeling good in your body. Eating better gave me more energy, healthier-looking skin and less decision fatigue because I knew exactly what to cook. And I want to share those practical tools with you. If you'd love a little encouragement and practical tools to build your confidence, I'd love to welcome you to the November mail club. And remember, your experiences and ideas are worth sharing, even when the data doesn't back them up yet. Thanks for reading Aisha Preece from Outandbeyond.com P.S. Is there an idea you've been putting off because you're afraid it won't work? Hit reply and tell me. I'd love to hear about it. PPS: I share my bare minimum low-effort strategy to grow my businesses on my Instagram stories — if you want more behind-the-scenes like this, come hang out: @aishapreece Also, some pics from the week: My Courses:

Today, I'm dictating this newsletter while cutting stickers that say, "Stop saying yes to shit that you hate" for my October Sparkles of Joy envelope. (crazy how speaking out instead of typing a newsletter has tripled my newsletter productivity) And I want to talk about something that I think a lot of us feel, but don't really talk about. Or perhaps don't even want to admit to ourselves. A while ago, I read Shoe Dog by Phil Knight, the founder of Nike. And while I was reading it, I was struck...
Hello, hello! I'm dictating another email today. This time, I'm dictating it while cutting out the art therapy activity for my October Sparkles of Joy snail mail club. (sign ups are closing in a few days btw!) For this particular activity, I've created a colouring sheet where you can just colour in, switch off your brain and use your hands. There's something quite cathartic about doing something creative without having to think too much. Anyway, today I want to talk about something I...
Hello, hello! I'm trying something new today. Instead of sitting at my desk typing this email, I'm dictating it while cutting out little paper goodies for the October edition of my Sparkles of Joy snail mail club. This month's theme is Beating the Burnout Blues, and it's a topic that's particularly close to my heart. I think we sometimes associate burnout exclusively with work, but burnout can creep into so many different areas of our lives. It can stem from caregiving responsibilities,...
